An online option is now provided for graduates of the online portrait painting course. Graduates now get to join in at the academy via Zoom. These are informal classes aimed at brushing up on the techniques taught on the portraiture course.
Each class offers a theme for students to work on certain elements of painting. For example this class was based on a John Singer Sargent Master Copy, reiterating the planes and simplified shapes emulated in the portrait painting course but students also have the option of working on their own projects .
The social element is just as important as students get to reconnect with students from past and present. One thing that people miss is the weekly meet up with like minded people that share the same interests and varied life experiences.
