Anna is another disciplined student. She has a bold and loose style which lends itself well to the Alla Prima method. The paintings below are homework assignments which she recieved a gold star for.
By brushing up on her draughtsmanship, understanding the rules of light and shade and learning how to mix complementary colour to create the illusion of depth helped to improve her ability and produce stronger three dimensional portraiture. The paintings below were two day projects which is a total of 12 hours painting time.
